We recently met our Missouri children and grandchildren at a VRBO rental home on the Gulf of Mexico for a little family fun in the sun.  This was our first time for a destination vacation as a family.  We’ve all been together in Colorado and Missouri in our homes but this was an adventure…something new.

We had a beautiful home within walking distance of the beach….

Creative kitchen time together….

Lazy morning coffee….

Stunning sunrises….

Family time around games and laughter….

Early morning senior pictures with father and daughter ….

Glow stick shenanigans on the beach at night….

Crazy storms and homemade sail boats to float in the rain puddles left behind….

Disgruntled fishermen whose charter fishing adventure was a dismal experience due to the above crazy storm…

Sand castles and wave jumping with Papa….

Saying goodbye….

Time with loved ones is precious.  Cherish it…..create time for it….make memories….savor every minute .

Hug them….kiss them….hold them tight.  They are the most valuable treasure you have on this side of heaven.

May your homes be built on the solid, immovable ,eternal foundation of Jesus Christ, His truth, His Word, His love and grace….
