Such wise words! You have given me some food for thought in regards to leaving a legacy. You are definitely making a difference like the “starfish thrower” – your words and your faith are making a difference! I pray we all leave a legacy that points to Him!

Awe, Jeraln — a Starfish Thrower. Me too. I want to make a difference to the one in front of me, too. Every one counts. What a sweet legacy of family you have–and what a blessing that is. Legacy is somewhat difficult for me because I didn’t grow up in a strong, healthy family. So, what do I do? Of course, I try to put the whole thing on my little shoulders, trying to create a good legacy for my children and grandchildren. Because I don’t know what a good family really looks like, I worry I’m not doing enough, or perhaps too much. Thank you for sharing legacy from your perspective. It helps to be a fly on others’ walls to get a feel for “normal.” Ya know? — (P.S., my aunt was killed when an elderly woman turned in front of her when she was on a motorcycle. One of the few family members who I was close to.) — Thank you for sharing with #ChasingCommunity today, friend. So glad to see you. 🙂 ((xoxo))

Brenda…I’m not sure there is a “normal”! If there is, I have not discovered it yet! Jesus is the one who has created my legacy and He will fashion yours…tailor made for your precious family.
